how old is too old to sleep with a baby blanket?!

Question: How old is too old to sleep with a baby blanket?
I have a friend, and my sister who are both above the age of twenty and still sleep with their baby blankets. Not only this, but both of them cannot sleep without them.

Is this normal?

Answers:

It's not normal, and I doubt their partners find that normal either.
You can suggest that they sew their blankets into pillows....to make them look less conspicuous! Because it maybe cute now in their early twenties but not when they're in their thirties or forties.

My younger brother was attached to his blanket till he was about 7, and my mom decided it was enough!! She gave away the blanket! He had a hard time sleeping without it for awhile but got used to it!!
The fact that adults still sleep with baby blankets shows parents lazy attitude towards addressing insecurity issues early on!!

I love my baby blankets, and I cherish them...but I don't sleep with them!! I've got them stored :) Not an excuse!!

well, no, its probably not considered 'the norm'

but its not going to damage them, unless obviously something happens to it...

maybe its not the best thing to have such a dependency on something like that because they will be stuck without it...

and some might think they're weird...

but really, as long as they aren't embarrassed by it, then it shouldn't really need to bother anyone else :)

That's pretty weird... But whatever. If it was important in their childhood and they want to keep it then they should...

No, that's not normal at all. I ditched mine at like age 5
