How do I overcome food guilt?!


Question: How do I overcome food guilt?
Everytime I eat junk food, I feel so guilty! How do I stop?

Answers:

Its a vicous cycle, but I'm talking about serious food addiction here, not just feeling bad about eating the occasional junk food. So i'll just talk about food adiction below :)

You feel low so you eat > you get big because you eat > you feel guitly for eating and getting big > it makes you feel low so you eat. Its a continuous cycle that wont end until you can pin point the reasons why you comfort eat.

family members have this problem, so many years experience and picked up these things from therapists too



Eat all the food you want and go to the gym or go for a run. and use up the calories. but eat.
There is never any reason to feel guilty about eating. there is really no guarantee that you will have food tomorrow. Look at Japan.



quit thinking of food all the time just eat when you need to. and if you're skinny or have a high metabolism you have nothing to worry about and guilt would be just stupid and pointless.



Don't feel guilty.

Just eat junk food moderately, and good food regularly.

And, exercise, too.
