How do you make sure a cut doesnt get infected?!
Question: How do you make sure a cut doesnt get infected?
i was looking for a knife to cut myself with and i ran my thumb across the blade of a knife to test if it was sharp enough, and it was. then i was gonna use it further and cut more but i didnt and then my little brothers friend came over and i gave it to him. now i want to make sure it doesnt get infected, without making it obvious as if my mom finds out i cut she will yell at me (like she has before)

Id wash it, with whatever you have. Either, antibacterial soap, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, or just plain water. Put a band-aid on it.
First, I think you shouldn't cut. But if you don't want to get cuts infected, you have to clean it, and then put a bandage over it.
One: get help. Two: disinfect it. Anything- your wound or the tool. And make sure you cover your wound with sterile items aswell.
Neosporin is good to clean out germs and prevent scarring.
