Does something traumatic need to happen to have a stress disorder?!

Question: Does something traumatic need to happen to have a stress disorder?
Because I don't know wth is going on with me the majority of the time, except for constatly feeling overwhelmed, worried, stressed out, no motivation or commitment, and giving up easily and my fight or flight kicking in.

Nothing traumatic has happened at all. Its just stress burned me out and continues to drag me into the ground head first. To the point stress relief tricks won't work. Even normal stress feels big. Also, removing myself from whatever is stressing me out, I still feel worn out, and not relieved.

So maybe I don't have a stress disorder but something else? =/ Anyone want to help?

Answers:

If you are a teen it could be hormonal...puberty is a tough time.
You dont need to suffer trauma to have a stress disorder. Scientists believe there is a stress gene that determines the individuls ability to cope with stress and I believe it cause most of my family have some form of stress related condition.

Do you know if anyone has it in your family? or anything related to things like yourself are experiencing? I think i may be the same D: hope your not too bad! x
