Yes, i'll share with you what helps me. I have anxiety disorder so there are plenty of occasions where i need to practice slow breathing exercises that help me relax. Find a quiet & relaxing place. Preferably dark as it promotes a relaxed atmosphere. Lie down on your back...close your eyes. Take in a slow deep breath. hold it for 5-7 seconds and then slowly exhale. repeat this until the stress leaves your body & you feel less anxious. You can actually do this virtually anywhere. I also try to focus on specific parts of my body, one at a time...a totally relax that area. I've found breathing exercises to be very useful as a relaxation technique. Try it!! See what you think.
