Getting pills, where, and what would i say?!

Question: Getting pills, where, and what would i say?
Im 20 years old, I have major money problems, plus other family members being ill and also having money issues.

I know this all temporary and hopefully things will improve, ive always been a positive person and try to look on the bright side.

Lately i've been struggling to do this, and started feeling really down. I just want to sleep all the time, don't want to solicalise, or deal with people, my boyfriend, or issues. Some days i wont eat at all, other days all i will do is eat. I feel as though this will also pass, i just need a pick up like anti depressants or something.

How do i go about this, i can hardly go to the doctor and say, i have money problems can you give me pills to feel better.......So what would i say to them?

Or is there a shop i can go to and buy some.(Am in the UK)

Answers:

You could see if there is a free clinic in your area or if there is some kind of governmental help out there for people in your circumstance. I live in the U.S. so there is quite a bit of help here that may or may not exist where you're from. What youu can also do is see if there is any program out there for indigent people or people who cannot afford to pay. Sometimes there are thesse kinds of programs but the problem is that they exist in hospitals where the cost is much higher. The drug companies are also willing to help as they have programs for people who can't afford their mmedications. Again, this is all found in the U.S. so you would need to do some investigating yourself, but I'm sure that you will be able to find something.

I also want to say something about antidepressants as well. They lay with chemistry in the brain and have the tendency to make people tthink suicidal thoughts while on them. Other people end up feeling like a robot while on them. I would think really hard about getting on them and try other things first, such as getting more exercise (exercise releases endorphins, the 'happy hormone') and taking time off to do things you love or relax you. After those have failed, would I suggest antidepressants.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
