Can nail polish remover kill you ?!

Question: Can nail polish remover kill you ?
I'm not going to do this, but in one of the depressed stages of my life, I was gonna kill myself by drinking nail polish remover. Would it have worked ? How ?

Answers:

Nail polish remover is not a beverage! Yes, it could severely damage your liver, shut down your kidneys and ultimately kill you. It would be a slow death and people would be trying to save you every step of the way. Next time you think death would be preferable to life, remember that the circumstances of your present life will change. If you're dead, you won't be there to enjoy them. It is hard being a teenager. Life can make you feel overwhelmed at times. You are not alone. You are not the only one who feels this way or has felt this way. I promise you that this too will pass. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and you'll see it soon if you just keep walking. The light make be around the very next corner, don't miss being there to see it.

It's mostly acetone. It would probably just destroy your stomach lining and leave you in constant pain and misery till you die. Ingestion into your lungs after you vomit is also a possibility.

Several studies report no effects or minor effects (slight drowsiness) in people who ingested up to 20 grams/day for several days, but I don't advice u to do that .. it probably won't taste good .. LOL

The nail polish remover or the ACETONE, can poison you.

It might no have worked actually more than likely you wouldn't be able to keep it down at most you'd have become sick

I dont know nor would i feel comfortable telling you.

Why would you ask that question in mental health if it isn't a mental health issue?

you wouldn't be able to swallow it

maybe?
