Women, do you think that...?!

Question: Women, do you think that...?
STRAIGHT porn could make a girl want to be a lesbian? I remember a few years ago coming past some really degrading rough viedeo and now I'm scared of sex. I wish I never saw it, since I did I've been terrified of men. I'm 19 and a virgin because of it.

Answers:

depends on the person. rape and sex isnt the samething, it is a power-lust, make the rapist feel powerful, invincible. sex is...well,... sex.

I would suggest getting some counseling. You were obviously very deeply scarred by what you saw on the video. A counselor can help you process your feelings and develop a healthy view of sex.

You're only 19 now. That means that you saw the video when you were around 15 or 16, I'm guessing. Maybe younger. That's an impressionable age. And an age that is too young to properly process that kind of information. A counselor will help you work through it.

When I was about 10 years old, I found a porn article stashed in my dad's jewelry box that was about 3 lesbians in bed together. In full detail. It really did scar me and scare me and make me afraid of sex and love for a long time. Plus, I felt guilty for snooping and blamed myself for doing something "wrong." So, I know how you feel.

But it sounds like you may have seen something very violent, perhaps even rape. That's a lot worse than the article I read (which seems silly to me now). If you're in college, there should be counselors available to you. If not, there shoud be a mental health clinic in your community that can either offer you counseling or refer you to someone.

It's tough to get help. But it is really worth it!

Hey don't stress! Sex is scary at first, you're giving your love and trust to someone else. Those videos are just for people who are into weird stuff! :P
Other wise sex can be quite magical and loving experience. You'll see one day, other wise there is no need to stress, its your choice. I chose to lose mine to my boyfriend because I trusted him and felt completely comfortable around him and I find it so lovely that we have that bond!
If it really scares you though talk to a counsellor, don't be embarrassed its their job. You'll find the right boy, that looks after you and won't be as scary as you imagined! Email me if you need to talk bridget_tuck@hotmail.com

Rape and sex isn’t the same thing, there’s a fundamental difference!
Losing your virginity is very nerve racking and yea you should do it with someone you trust and love. Sex is not all about him it’s about both of you; it’s about giving each other pleasure.

There's no need to fear sex as long as you are doing it with someone who loves and cares about you because you know they wont hurt you.
