Thanks so much for your answers.

Answers:

2 Cor. 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

I take captive the depressed thoughts and I tell it to go in the name of Jesus. I apply the blood of Jesus around my mind an thoughts and then I do what Jesus did in the wilderness I command the devil to get behind me and confess out loud what the word of God says about me instead of the wrong thoughts.
Greater is He Jesus that is in me then he that is in the world.
God has not given me a Spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.
I sing the blood of Jesus and the depressed thoughts leave because they are a spirit of depression and it has to go when I praise the Lord as well.

The thing about depression is, that you only know you've made any progress when you're out of it.
It's a process of leaving despair (not sadness) and finding joy (not happiness). Joy is a peace that doesn't leave you.

It took a lot of prayer and a lot of forcing myself out of the house into public situations before I managed to turn around one day and see myself as God sees me, and to recognize my sorrow wasn't wrong, it was the dwelling in one place that was, and I was the one being hurt by it.

By feeding what your body wants like, eating tasty food in some people really liften their energy up and when you keep on doing this, up and up and up its just gets better.

I dont think anyone can beat depression by study or learning as it can only soar in limited knowledge of heights.

So by doing what you enjoy whatever that may be you can overcome such things. Hoewever there are some situation that is hard to break through coz other people feel that depressive way and so sometimes if we are not aware or careful we can slip and add some tint of their state in our body.

There's a but. But if we liften that life up, the adversary usually comes and say to us "What about this???.." and then we have this hidden issue/s or maybe fake that is being use agaisnt you but remember its nothing is impossible to God and this is a different part/issue to solve coz it can be anything.

Proverb 4:23. Guard your heart at all times for it determines the course of your life.

When I was diagnosed with depression 5 years ago (I was really suicidal), I was prescribed drugs by a psychiatrist and in one month the meds helped me. They actually changed my personallity a bit as I have stopped analysing myself and my past. I now concentrate on a present moment. I was not like that before. Sorry for my English and best of luck beating your depression!

Well I have My own personal testimony, But I will Not disclose that here, it is very personal and an aspect I do not want some people to know, But I can answer this question,

Depression is a widespread condition, affecting millions of people, Christians and non-Christians alike. Those suffering from depression can experience intense feelings of sadness, anger, hopelessness, fatigue, and a variety of other symptoms. They may begin to feel useless and even suicidal, losing interest in things and people that they once enjoyed. Depression is often triggered by life circumstances, such as a loss of job, death of a loved one, divorce, or psychological problems such as abuse or low self-esteem.

The Bible tells us to be filled with joy and praise (Philippians 4:4; Romans 15:11), so God apparently intends for us all to live joyful lives. This is not easy for someone suffering from situational depression, but it can be remedied through God's gifts of prayer, Bible study and application, support groups, fellowship among believers, confession, forgiveness, and counseling. We must make the conscious effort to not be absorbed in ourselves, but to turn our efforts outward. Feelings of depression can often be solved when those suffering with depression move the focus from themselves to Christ and others.

Clinical depression is a physical condition that must be diagnosed by a physician. It may not be caused by unfortunate life circumstances, nor can the symptoms be alleviated by one's own will. Contrary to what some in the Christian community believe, clinical depression is not always caused by sin. Depression can sometimes be caused by a physical disorder that needs to be treated with medication and/or counseling. Of course, God is able to cure any disease or disorder. However, in some cases, seeing a doctor for depression is no different than seeing a doctor for an injury.

There are some things that those who suffer from depression can do to alleviate their anxiety. They should make sure that they are staying in the Word, even when they do not feel like it. Emotions can lead us astray, but God's Word stands firm and unchanging. We must maintain strong faith in God and hold even more tightly to Him when we undergo trials and temptations. The Bible tells us that God will never allow temptations into our lives that are too much for us to handle (1 Corinthians 10:13). Although being depressed is not a sin, one is still accountable for the response to the affliction, including getting the professional help that is needed. “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name” (Hebrews 13:15).
