The desire for power and control is often manifested in thoughts of violence. Some of which is the result of real life/real time constraints placed on a person by her/his environment or past experiences.

It's safe to think in terms of finality that are represented by violent thoughts. Be sure that you are not acting upon them in a violent fashion. It is also imprtant that these thoughts are not the predominate process for decision making.

I'm a life long violent thinker who is highly successful in information technology business ownership and management. No history of violent acts, social allienation or crime. Just decisive and somewhat ruthless in how I position myself and my resources both personally and in business.

Sociopathic?? Maybe.

If you don't hurt anyone, you're not a sociopath. Though you may have the potential to be a sociopath. Just my opinion.
