Struggling with the urge to cut and almost tempted to comitt suicide?!

Question: Struggling with the urge to cut and almost tempted to comitt suicide?
ive been talking out my issues since november and just started taking 20 mg celexa about 2 weeks ago and im really struggling, i dont think the celexa is making my depression/anxiety worse, but i dont think its working yet either, all it seems to have done so far is given some side effects (drowsiness, and on some days it pretty much completely kills my appetite) and with finding out there are bills that my dad left when he finally left after my mom and dad divorced things seem more hopeless then ever.

Answers:

well that does suck ill give you that. but if these bills aren't through the roof then you should be fine. let me tell you something. reality is full of cool stuff out there. a little pill is not gonna change jack except how you look at things, and there are way better drugs (entheogens) for that albeit illegal ones.

your issues cannot be talked out. they can only be realized and admitted through conversation. at some point you have to leave them behind. if you are angry at someone, that is NOT an issue with yourself but your interaction with that specific person. if you don't like people because someone mistreated you and you are angry at them AND the world that IS an issue with yourself. be okay with yourself. try slowly to get to know someone else and know their life. be interested by peoples stories. most people have something exciting to say. then maybe they will return the favor and ask you about your life. then you can connect with them.

talk to the doc and get a medication change.

:( i wish you the best in getting better, i'll pray for you
