Should i NOT drink coffee while on zoloft and clonazepam?!

Question: Should i NOT drink coffee while on zoloft and clonazepam?
I am a huge coffee drinker and drink other beverages that have caffeine in them. I have been on 50 mg of zoloft (which is getting increased to 100 mg next week), and .5 mg of clonazepam since February. I had been taking both of the medicines at 7:50 am, then taking the clonazepam again at 7:50 pm (twice a day i took clonazepam). I just got out of the hospital last friday for a suicide attempt, in which i drank 3 bottles of nyquil, took 12 sleeping pills, and 6 of my clonazepam pills. I am back at college now, and my doctor has instructed me to take the zoloft at 8 am, and the clonazepam only once a day at noon. When i take the zoloft, i start feeling nauseous and usually get diarrhea. And when i took the clonazepam today, my heart started beating really fast and i was jittery and was twitching in class today. But i had also drank a 20 oz. Coffee around 8:50 am to 9:30 am.

Do you think it was the caffeine that caused the jitteriness and the twitching? I was really scared, cause my heart was beating very fast, and it felt like my chest was closing up and that i was about to have a heart attack. Or should i not take the clonazepam because it was one of the things i consumed during my suicide attempt?

Answers:

When I used to take Adderrall, and got prescribed Attarax, I used to drink energy drinks and green tea with them, I never experienced any problems, nothing but besides more energy. But then again, I'm one person, your experience might be different, so I really don't know. Ask a doctor?
