Question: I quit cipralex cold turkey almost 2 weeks ago. since, i am so dizzy all.the.time. help..?
i try to eat and drink salty stuff after which the dizziness goes away for just a minute but i've been off the meds for more than 1/5 week now and it is definitely not getting better. any1 knows when is this gonna stop or what can i do to feel less dizzy all the time .

Answers:

First of all you should never quit any meds cold turkey and without doctor approval and monitoring. It could have adverse affects.

It should take about 14 days to get out of your system so you are almost there. If the dizziness is really bad you could try a motion sickness medicine like dramamine.

You should never quit SSRI anti-depressants cold-turkey. Please go and tell your doctor what happened. I have gone cold-turkey myself and it is downright dangerous. Go back on them so you can slowly decrease the amount you're taking, eventually stopping but safely, or visit your doctor and be honest with them. They've seen it all before, they're not going to get upset with you.
