feeling like a dead-beat: depressed and lazy?!
Question: Feeling like a dead-beat: depressed and lazy?
I feel like I haven't gotten up in 6 months and when I think about getting up and doing something, I can't think of anything that interests me enough to change...
I've talked to my psychiatrist, but he just tells me I'm obviously talented and smart for having a degree so I should use it... I don't even think I want to be in the film industry anymore and that's hard to accept knowing how much work I put into it already..
I have no idea what I'm interested in, and even if every job in the world was available to me I still wouldn't have a clue what I'd want (I'm obviously unemployed right now). I'm 22, recent grad, and the most I do all day every day is walk my dog... how do I change or how do I get myself to WANT to change?

Answers:
Get a new psychiatrist, or start seeing a therapist. He sounds like an ***. Maybe a new person could help you find the answers you're looking for. I have the similar problem of demotivation and I'm still trying to figure out how to rectify it.
