Is this ok? And why is it happening?!

Question: Is this ok? And why is it happening?
I dont want to say my exact age, but I am a teenager. I have what I suppose you could call and "imaginary friend". I've had it since I was i guess 3 or 4 years old, and have been talking to it ever since. But it's not like I can make it go away, its just part of me now... Before, all it did was just sit there in the back of my head, and I always had intellectual conversations with it. But now it's like it's almost like someone else is taking over my mind, and it even is getting me to say things (normally really mean sort of things) that I would never usually say.. It's never done that before, until a week or two ago, and when that happened, me and the people near me were i guess shocked... I was just wondering, is this normal?

Answers:

this aint okay at all, especially if he's mean. i have a companion named Presence(its what he feels like to me so i gave him that name) living in my mind and this has started a month ago, college can harsh on the mind...but seriously, i advise you that you get help from a doctor and a counslar. I talk with Presence like if he was a real person, most of the time we'd have regular conversations..but really he is a cruel and evil thing. He makes me see "short films" of myself beating the snot out of random people, and now he's showing me myslef cutting with a pair of fabric scissors on my forearm, and he's getting pissed cuz i keep ignoring him, its gettin tougher to resist, but every time he show me these videos he doesnt say smack about it, like it never happened and acting like he's innocent. If your Imaginary friend can make you say things you wouldnt say ever, dont wait till its too late, he might even be able to manipulate you into not just talking involunteerly but maybe guide your body to do harmful things to others or self-harm, and im gettin close to that. Best of luck man, be careful and stay strong and you might think about taking meds, but be careful of which ones you take, they dont all work like their supposed to, you could get really sick, or just experience the side effects which aint fun either..

Peace & Chicken grease brah..

No. It is not normal. You need to talk to your parents or a school counselor.
