Why do anti-psychotics cause weight gain in people?!
Question: Why do anti-psychotics cause weight gain in people?
Answers:
Certain antipsychotics contribute to weight gain because they increase appetite and cause your body to crave unhealthy foods. It can also throw off your sodium levels, resulting in bloating
From mental health point of view, I think you should take proper guidance again from your family doctor. Also take your parents or some near and dear friends or relatives into confidence about your health. Take medicines only as per prescriptions given by a qualified doctor periodically. Wish you good luck and happy times back. God speed.
