Extremely hot and can't get to sleep?!

Question: Extremely hot and can't get to sleep?
I've been trying to fall asleep since like 12 and now it's 3:30. I'm sweating and super hot and naseaus. What's wrong with me? I'm not using any covers and I'm wearing shorts. I'm so hot. Ugh. What is this and how can I get to bed? Thanks.

Answers:

Are you having a high fever, or some illness? (You mention of having nausea.)

First of all, drink some cool water. Open some windows to allow some cooler air to get in (unless the night in your region is also very hot!) See if that helps.

Secondly, I think your room might be too hot. Either you can make it cooler (by turning on a fan, or maybe an air-con, if you still feel terribly hot after using the fan...), or you may like to move to a cooler place to sleep.

These are how I tackled such heat when it appeared at night.
