Shameful experience with porn, and found by parents, need to share?!

Question: Shameful experience with porn, and found by parents, need to share?
I've felt poisoned by the shame of this experience, and I feel like it won't go away until I express it to someone else. A few nights ago I was looking at Internet porn... it had been a while since I really cut loose and looked at it a lot. I guess I felt like it had been a while and I was doing well in other areas, so I deserved a break. I started out relating to it in a healthy way... not seeing the people as objects but as people. But then I slipped up and allowed myself to get into that porn state of mind... seeing people as things to be used. And that leaves me feeling ashamed... I know it's wrong to use it like that.

After a while of using it, one of my parents knocked on the door. This is especially bad because I'm older, but have been living at home for a little while to get back on my feet. I felt trapped... fortunately the door was locked, but they figured out what was going on. And then when they were leaving they spoke in a weird, kind of childish voice - "ok, bye, good night." I felt kind of violated by that. That whole interaction left me feeling even more ashamed, and I felt even more in the porn state of mind. I used it some more, but eventually I was sick of it and stopped.

But I've felt not in the same state of mind ever since, like the shame is in me but I can't get it out. I've hoped that by expressing this to others it would help.

Answers:

The question is did you feel ashamed when you watched porn and lived on your own? Was it just because you kind of shunned your folks when they knocked on the door? Pornography can get into your head and poison your rrelationships if you let them. They represent a twisted view of sexual relationships. If you believe you have a problem, seek professional help.

Naw that's okay.
I mean it's a multi BILLION dollar industry, are you surprised they got to you?
Just start enjoying life instead of watching porn, because you only have 1 life.
And if it makes you feel any better, I love the name 'Mark'
I think it's because I LOOOOOVE mark Harmon

Put a picture of a woman you admire(Mom?) on your computer. That should solve the bopping your bologna thing to porn on the computer. Just let it go, they know you masturbate(most of us do!). At least you are not out making babies, right!

Everybody watches porn lol. If u want to get out of the habit, find yourself a sex buddy haha...dead serious it worked for me. Why not do the actual thing?
