Xanax during pregnancy?

Hi everyone, I'm almost 9 months pregnant and have been taking very low doses of xanax due to severe anxiety issues. It is ther only thing that helps me. The dosage is roughly .5mg at night. Has anyone here taken xanax while they were pregnant? How did evething turn out with the baby? My baby's heart and all other organs are absolutely perfect. Serious answers from mothers who know what I'm going through please. Thanks ladies!!!!

Hi Stop the panic it should be OK. Its only a very low dose and do you know the stress and anxiety could have done far more damage then the meds would have. I am a mother of 4 children and have bipolar meds is part of my life. Although I opted not to take anything well pregnant, I do understand the stress of the unknown. your baby should be fine and the doctor will have give you the right advice for you taking the meds. please stop worrying soon you will be a mother and that is the best thing in the world to be (for me anyway). Good to see you are already caring for the baby.
