Has anyone used cymbalta for depression......?
how did it work for you? what if any side effects did it cause for you?
i am seeing my doctor today and wanted to get some insight from others on it before i talk with him.

cymbalta has helped a great many people, and there are several other antidepressants out there that help...but, the meds alone are not going to effect a lasting change in your mood. What they do is clear your thinking, stop the sprial pattern of thinking that prevents you from getting past the depression. But, unless you combine the use of the meds with therapy, there is no change in the root cause of the depressive disorder, the way you think. So, when you see your doctor for medication, ask him also to refer you to a mental health professional for therapy.
