What makes someone want to alter their state of mind?
drugs, alcohol, pot. What's the deal? Are you all that unhappy with your lives?
That's sad.
Answers:
I use alcohol, on an occasional basis, and I have no reason to be unhappy. I had a great childhood, and grew up in a happy home with both parents, with plenty of money, and did well at school.
Sometimes, it can just be fun to let go of some inhibitions. Sometimes liquor can taste quite good. And sometimes, I like to drink when I'm with friends. Sometimes it helps conversation flow better.
Out in the country, kids do pot because they don't have much of anything else to do.
Thinking that drug or alcohol use is due to past abuse or family issues is just a bunch of BS. Often it's just curiosity and poor decision-making.
