Can depression ever be cured?

or will it always stay with you ive been suffering with it for 10 years now and it just doenst seem to lift. has anybody ever 'got' better? im just so fed up of it all

Answers:

there is no solid cure for it, just meds to help deal with it. I am bipolar and yes its very hard to deal with but without my meds I probably wouldnt be here today.
