Please help...clarifying my previous question!?!

Question:

Please help...clarifying my previous question!?

I recently posted a question in regards to a 10 week ultrasound and the accuracy of it. However, I was not clear enough and some people said to add more detail to my question. My question is how accurate is the 10 week ultrasound as far as predicting due dates. I know that the early ultrasounds are accurate within a week or so, but I am wondering if it is at all possible that it's off by a month? I also had one at 20 weeks and it was also accurate to what I thought my due date is...Please answer only if you have been through a pregnancy. Also, I had an ultrasound at what I believe to be 6 weeks pregnant...it coincides with all other pictures I have seen while researching 6 week ultrasound photos. So, anyone willing to help me? I'm 34 weeks now (and my latest u/s which was on Friday measured me at 33 weeks), so I'm still pretty much right on track...I don't need this stress right now so please help. I can't really be a month further along than I think can I? Thanks again ladies!

Answers:

That depends on when you think you got pregnant. Why do you think it's not accurate? Are they saying you are further along than you think you are? You said you are 34 weeks now, and the latest one done on Friday was saying you were 33 weeks along, and that you are still pretty much right on track. So, where's the problem? Do you have an especially large baby for when you think you should be? I've had two children, and never had that many ultrasounds, so I'm a little puzzled at all the ones that have been run so far. Are they trying to establish a due date? Are they looking for something unusual? Is there some doubt as to the identity of the father? Have you asked THEM about the accuracy of their ultrasound and it's interpretation? I'm not getting where the "stress" is coming in, if the ultrasounds are right on with where you think you should be. Maybe a little more information is in order here.......
