( or do some use garnishmints ? )
Answers:
I prefer being unadorned of an garnishment so that my true edge is showing. It tends to act as a deterrent to the crimanally insane. There is enough of my sword exposed to make the other crazies think twice before engaging in a confrontation. The benefit is that my kind of crazies know me as one of their own.
