Stress management?!

Question:

Stress management?

Hi all,

recently I tried to start a small business, it was the first time in my life. Of course I found difficulties. But what even more surprised we was the constant stress because things did not go as well as I planned and I constantly lost money.
Stress. A mixture of not too intensive but constant fear, anxiousity, kind of grumpyness and pressure in stomach.
I were thinking about all this, why my body reacts to uncertainity in this way and I realised that it is because success is necessary for me and failure is to avoid. Even I tried not to be stressed, my body simply kept me in this state.

Do you know about any good, natural anti-stress method that temporarly decreases this feeling? I mean _natural_ methods, nothing with alcolhol or drugs.

The next part of my question is in Advanced stress management.

Many thanks for your answers.

Answers:

Learn to separate issues that you have control over and those you don't. Make a list.
Change, fix, or eliminate the one's you can. They can't affect you when they are gone.

Look at your "NO Control" list and decide if they are worth the worry or stress. If you can't control the outcome quit wasting your energy with worry. "What ifs" will cause you to fail by concentrating on 'negative' outcomes. Alcohol/drugs will NOT make any changes in what YOU have NO CONTROL over.

Learn to accept that things can and do go wrong-use as a tool to prevent again-not as a forcast of failure.

Focus on what IS working right and why-you will gain some positive feelings toward yourself and give you confidence in your ability to stay in control and handle issues in a better way.
