Why do I become paranoid after smoking marijuana? Can someone help me out with t!

Question:

Why do I become paranoid after smoking marijuana? Can someone help me out with this?

Ive been smoking on and off for about a couple of years, and on 5 consecutive occasions, ive freaked out completly. My words, phrases and thoughts became absolutely distorted. I couldnt control what I was doing. I found it hard to concentrate on one thing seeing as there were thousands of thoughts going through my head at point, and I felt coerced to find out what they all meant, leading me to talk and act erratically. And almost all the time, Ive develop an increased heart rate as well. Is there some sort of medical definition or classification to this obscure reaction that I develop when smoking marijuana?

Answers:

Yes, paranoia is a side-affect from cannabis, however, depending upon how much you smoke could coordinate how paranoid you get. Cannabis also raises your blood pressure, thus can raise how many times your heart beats per minute. Paranoia affects your heart rate, just as excitement or fear does. One thing you could try doing is slowly increasing the amount of cannabis (pot, marijuana, ganja, etc) you smoke in one session. Once you become comfortable with the amount you have smoked, next time you do, maybe take another rip, and so on and so forth... and maybe, just maybe that will decrease your amount of paranoia. I hope this comes in help! :)
