Answers:

i did until a couple of years ago. i hid a lot especially from my family. back in oct of 2005 i was diagnosed with major depression and bulimia and a year later i found out i have OCD and panic attacks. for a long time before that, i did feel like i was alone and no one else knew how i felt. but then i got help because i hit rock bottom. if i was majorly depressed, i would stay home for work and school. it was bad, i didnt even want to be around me kid, i was suicidal (just thoughts, but still it was bad how much i wanted to die). actually i still have thoughts of suicide, but then i call my best friend and she always cheers me up. then about a year ago and started opening up to my family and telling them i have the mental disorders. it helped a whole lot for me. i still hide some stuff but not that much. so i suggest that you sit down and think about why you feel the way you do, whats going on in your life to start thinking about getting help, why do you want help, do you really want help, is it really a battle, what are you going through and is it really that bad, why do you feel its really bad/tough, etc. ya these might sound like stupid questions, but its called picking your brain and that is what psychologist do. so save some money and do it yourself. get to the root of your problem, meaning pick your brain til you cant pick it anymore and you are pretty sure what is going on in your head!!! it helps, trust me, if it didnt, then we wouldnt have psychologist!!!! and once you have gone through your head, try to come up with solutions. right down pros and cons of stuff, if that applies. then slowly try to fix the problem. also start talking to people about it, dont hide, because it will only get worse if you do. make jokes about it, have fun with it and life. dont let this weigh you down, stop thinking about it so much, do exercise, read a book, etc. and if after you do all this and you have fun out of ideas what to do ask friends, and after that, go see someone, a psychologist and they might suggest stuff you never thought of and of course they will pick your brain even more and sometimes when they do that, the answer will be right in front of you!!! and remember, if you see a psychologist and they send you to a psychiatrist to get on meds, its up to you if you want them or not!! but hopefully you can overcome this yourself and it wont go that far. good luck and tell all your friends and family you love them. oh and dont forget to listent to the birdies and catch some butterflies!!!
