Why do I care so much?
Why do I care when other people say false things about me? Or what other people think of me??
I know part of it stems from I want everyone to like me...

i can't really tell you why you feel that way because i've never been one to care what people think, or say. But i can tell you that when people make up false stories, talk about you behind your back, and spend that much time thinking about you, it must mean you're a pretty special and amazing girl. Ignore what they say, ignore what they think, only you know who you really are and what you truly feel, and you're amazing as it is. You should never want everyone to like you, its unrealistic. If everyone liked you, where would the fun be in that? That would mean you've spent all your life trying to make people happy and not spent enough time making YOURSELF happy. Its better to have a handful of close friends than a million fake ones.
