They both have their good points and advantages. They both work. Many conventional drugs actually began with a plant derivative.
Eastern treatments have been around for thousands of years and many people have sworn by it. Ultimately, it's up to you to try it out for yourself or speak to someone who has. I would think that alternative treatments will take longer to work but the chances of side effects are much less than drugs. Hope this helps.
