I need some help with my fear of thunderstorms?
Ok. I am so afraid of thunderstorms. If i am alone in a thunderstorm i call somebody and cry to them seriously. when i am not alone in one then i still freak out and go under the covers. ok. when i see dark clouds i get worried and start crying. is this a phobia? if so what is it called? and how do i calm down when a storm comes?!?!?!?! i am soo scared of them! what do i do? i literally cry!

how about studying storms, then you will KNOW what is happening at the time.
do you have a childhood trauma attached to storms?
ask yourself, (not in the middle of a storm) why you are so scared, when your mind is totally calm, and see what your mind tells you. may be surprised what comes up.
