What do you do?
what do you do to take your mind of your mental problems/issues/illness... I have suffer from depression for 3 years and I used exercise to take my mind of. what do you do?
Answers:
Besides the normal therapy sessions and medications. I listen to calming music. I remember H.A.L.T and ask the questions....am I hungry, angry, lonely or tired. Playing with or cuddling with my dogs is often most helpful and sometimes being around a good friend I can confide in helps. Exercise helps me too along with my diet and watching my sugar levels.
