Over wieght kids? stigma? discriminations agianst over wieght people?

ook i just read this in yahoo health, it says, " children as young as 3 are more likely to consider over weoght peers to be mean , stupid,ugly, and sloppy." do we really raise our kids to believe this?it goes "on yougnters who reprort teasing , rejection, bullying and other types of abuse r more likely to have suicidal thoughts as well as to suffer other health issues." i just can believe it, we are driving these kids to commit suicide? im chubby myself, i love me, it took me a long time to notice that i was beatuiful, but know that i know its , an amazing feeling to know that my out side its just an image. why is it that even parents and teachers pick on the fat kid!!!! i was abused when i was lil in every way sexually, emotionaly, physically. i would never want my kids to go thru that!!! i would hate to see another kid die because they think they are worthless because the way they look. fat or skinny. what do you think? looks or feelings?

im chubby, fat, call it what u will. i know having extra lbs is not good for u. but either way some people dont see that being skinny is as bad as bieng fat.
like this one time i saw in a pair of jeans it said " beaing obese is not a healthy life style" i thought to muself well bieng 5'9 and weighing 95 isnt either!!! i just read a comment that said its a way of life..........ja ja ja kids being picked on, is not a way of life!!!! thats how we get all of those massacares . and yeah i see it as discrimination. ex: get a barbie lookng girl that has no expirince to get a job , and then send in the obese girl tha has had 2 yrs of exprince in her proffesion who do u think will get the job?

I know it's terrible what some kids go through being overweight..I was overweight myself as a teenager and I was made fun of...I never want my child to go through that. I think the problem is how children are raised. Children should be taught that people are different and there's a difference between what celebrities look like and REAL people. The people on TV and in magazines have a staff to help them to be beautiful. No one ever says to luv yourself, they only say looks matter. And it's kinda sad that with that first look u give someone, we r already judging that person based on looks. People don't have consideration for others anymore. Sorry I was in rant mode for this answer :)
