Psychiatrist pays the most. In the NY area, about $150/half hour. You need to get a medical degree first.
Psychologist is next, about $120/50 minutes. It requires a Ph.D. or a social work degree.
Social worker: is a 2 year program. Around here, pays about $90/50 min.
All require you to be compassionate and a good listener. If money is what's most important to you, try a different field.
