I am 10 weeks pregnant. This is my third pregnancy. With my first son instead of morning sickness I had panic attacks. They put me on zoloft and ativan. Well this time I was going through alot. I was having intrusive thoughts of my husband cheating with no evidence. I was having self esteem problems as well. So I went to the hospital to get an evaluation and I got admitted. I was there for 5 days. I was put on 50mg zoloft and .5 mg of ativan when i need it. I hate taking pills. I went in friday night..I started feeling spacy and weird sunday. I have a hard time concentrating and stuff. My vision is a little blurred also. I am always feeling tired or like i have to tap my fingers or foot. I feel physically worse...I dont want to take zoloft. I just need to realize my husband loves me and find a way to boost my self esteem. Why do I feel so short of breath all the time now? Could my medication cause me to feel weird? I am thinking of cutting it down to 25 mg.

I also have OCD, but I think if I went to therapy I could control it.

PLEASE don't try to diagnose or change your course of treatment yourself. Zoloft, like some of the other antidepressants takes time to work. It can take as long as three to four weeks to reach the therapeutic dosage. Please tell your therapist about your feelings. Sometimes changing medications or dosages can help but I don't think you have given this medication enough time. best wishes
