Question:

Possible Social Anxiety Suffer, help me please?

Well, you see, the thing is that I am fairly certain I suffer from at least a moderate form of Social Anxiety. Like, I'm terrified of doing things like going to the bathroom in public, public speaking, eating in front of people, and I always feel like I'm being judged, etc., etc.

Well, my parents won't allow me to get help or diagnosed because they think I'm making it all up, or rather, exaggerating. So I was wondering what some thing are that I could do by myself to possibly help me not feel so terrible about myself and how to conquer my fears? Like, mind exercises and things that will hopefully help me be more confident. I don't know if Social Anxiety can be helped like that, but I've got to try something, or else I'm going to drive me and everyone around me crazy.
Some other stuff:
-I only have confidence when I'm writing
-I've felt like this for several years
-It does occasionally effect my life, like where I go and such
-When I can avoid something my heart quickens and I shake

i know how you feel i couldn't even go outside
now i find it easier as long as i don't really look at anyone
and stay away from people that talk to me that is how i do it

my i say you write and it makes you feel good?

so use that take a journal with you and just write
every time you start feeling like the world is closing in on you
write how you really feel or how you thing everyone is is feeling
or just about what you see like pretty green trees or ugly buildings like that and then look up an see what you have
wrote about might help

or you might get your own idea on what to write.

i hate it when people say that your exaggerating
