When will sex drive come back?
How long after stopping taking antidepressants (SSRIs) will your sex drive come back? Do SSRIs permanently damage your sex drive or will it eventually come back after ceasing use? Thanks.
Answers:
Some antidepressants have a tremendously long half-life, meaning that the medication remains in your system for some time. I know Prozac has a very long half-life on it, so if you are taking that or one similar to it, it may take six weeks or so for the medication to fully leave your system.
