A poem. What do you think?

Black butterfly of the abyss,
On wings so light; an angel's kiss.
Rest upon my hand a while
Don't leave me alone,
Bring me a smile.
You're my ray of light in the darkness,
Where i've become so cold and heartless.
But you have to leave, back to the light,
And leave me here to lose this fight.

Katy - you call this dark? this isn't dark compared to my other poems. yeah it's not happy, but i wouldn't say it was particularly dark.

miss bluebell - am not very good at writing happy poems - i feel poetry has to come from the heart, and this is how i feel. but give me a happy thing to write about and i'll try.

I like it, i love "dark" poetry! the beginning was like a ray of hope had come and by the end you realized that your ray of hope was gone and you were stuck fighting all alone again... i liked it. i would like to read more of ur poetry if the rest is darker than this one... like i said, i love dark poetry.
