Stress is killing me. Don't find a way soon to get rid of it means big trouble for me. Help?

Hey. I've been getting heart problems and such for a few months now which im 100% sure it's due to so much stress, physically and mentally. Mainly mentally. Problem is with me is that hold way too much in. Never really speak my mind or release any anger. Pretty much any emotions that have anything to do with being serious. I'm only 21 too which really sucks. I always create my own problems though whethere it be bills or just making excuses for myself.I dont pay attention to much so I end up geting screwed for my lazyness. Another big problem with me is that I think about all the things I want to do in life whether it be my dream to fight or just simply talking to some girl. I never act on them though and just keep thinking and thinking and wondering and wondering till it just turns into a big ball of stress. Anyone have any ideas on how I can just release this crap, get rid of my fears of not going after the things I want in life, and freeing myself of this last bit of shyness I have

If I were your therapist, I would think that your problem was more of an organizational one and not actually a mental health problem which is great news!

I hear you saying you create your own problems. I really think you should work on your organizational skills. In terms of your bills, make a list of what bills you have each month and when they are due and their approximate cost so you can get it together. Check them off as they are paid.

You need to find something to chanel your stress. What do you enjoy...if your a dreamer, can you write stories, poetry or songs to put your frusterations into? Do you enjoy sports, lsitening to music ect...find something you love that you can channel those feelings into!!

I know when I am stressed as much as I HATE it, running always makes me feel better. Like I already said, excersise (as much as you may hate it) will take care of a lot of stress. It releases a hormone called endorphines which are a "feel good" hormone.

So all and all for you I think getting organized and finding some way to channel your negitaive feelings. You can do it!!!! Good luck.
