What's wrong with me!!! I live 30 min from my family and I'll go for weeks witho!
Question:
What's wrong with me!!! I live 30 min from my family and I'll go for weeks without calling them...............
not because I don't want to....I don't know why. I always feel nervous that I'll say the wrong thing or disappoint them somehow....or sometimes I'll feel that my phone call might interrupt/inconvenience them in some way so I just put it off till later.....I know I'm dealing with some sort of social anxiety.....What do u think?

im not sure necessarily why, but i deal with a similar problem with my family
it may be that you are nervous that they disaprove of who you are and what your doing with your life....
my mom is very much that way... she has high expectations.....
i tend to have difficulties with that...
and it may not even be that you are actually doing anything wrong, you may just have a little too much anxiety,
its not your fault that calling them worries you,
it happens...
just take a deep breath before you call or visit and thing about some things you could talk about with them before you pick up the phone, just so you are more prepeared...
