What do I do about my husband discovering a scar?

I didn't know that scars from when you're a toddler would still be on the body as an adult. Basically one of my parents got angry with me and cut me a lot on my foot, under the toes at the base and on the nail cuticles and skin around it. There is a webbed scarring on the underside of two toes. It freaked out my husband and I had to admit what happened to him. Now he hates that parent even more. I know it's not a big deal, but it made me feel disloyal and embarrassed. I don't think he'll mention it to anyone but his own therapist when talking about how psycho my family can be. Thing is, the therapist is the same one I see too. :( And I don't tell her those things.

He already knows some of what they both had done before, but I don't think till he saw the scar that he realized they were really doing nasty things to me. He looked at me differently. That's what made me feel embarrassed, maybe.
