What would make a woman go to the extreme of this(read details?

My sister told me she sold her baby at first i thought she was teasing me so i ask how much and she told me and i said no you did not..How you be so mean you could of give him to me and i would raise him. But she point how would I because i live with my father and was still in high school. I can say thank God mom was dead when she did this or it would of kill her.Later in life i ran into my nephew Little Tommy who's bought mom took the pleasure of tell him that his real mom did not want him and either did she and he was sold like a piece of meat in the market. My heart went out to him but there was nothing i could do it was taken out of my hand long ago. His gf a beautiful woman told me not to worry he will be alright and she would take care of him. i hope and pray that everything will be alright for him.

She was Married .She had a job. Tommy was walking around the house. Even so as i stated instead of saleing she could of gave the cute little thing to me to raise and I would of found away to do it. He was family!

Definitely, the child should have been allowed to keep some form of his identity & stay in the family!!!
