Going off of effexor?
im going to be going off of effexor pretty soom so that i can take immetrex for migraines. i am on 112.5mg (per day) right now. has anyone experienced going off this med? wat withdrawal symptoms might i experience? i will be going onto another anti-depressant, but it isnt decided wat yet. is it better to make the transition to another drug while in the process of weaning off the effexor usually? wat other antidepressants r there that are quick acting like effexor that will not cause risk of sartonin syndrom wen taken with immatrex?

I am going off it right now. I am lowing the dose while starting another ani-depressant. They are putting me on Citalopram. If I were you I would not come off and not be on something else. I tried to come off without no other meds and it was bad. I mood swings, crying all the time and headaches. I thought I was going to have check myself into hospital. I will not do that again.
