What does justice seek, what is justice in life and how does that happen?!

Question:

What does justice seek, what is justice in life and how does that happen?

Answers:

Justice is a societal and often religious norm. Justice is necessary for a society to function. Without rules and order the system collapses into war or chaos. To have rules there must be consequences for them not being obeyed.

On an interpersonal level though justice can not be confused with healing. There can be forgiveness, healing, mercy, and reconciliation without justice.

The worse tragedy is to see someone stuck as a life long victim because they are seeking justice (for a real wrong) instead of looking to the future and becoming a victor. Or confusing the lack of ability to bring justice as a minimization of the wrong done to them. Justice will not change a wrong - as it should seek to prevent future wrongs.

My advice - don't search for justice - search for love. It is much easier to find and in the end much more fulfilling.
