How do you get the strength to cut yourself knowing its not right?

how do you ignore everything your mind is telling you and how does that at the end make you feel better what is it that you tell yourself so that your body feels like its the right thing to do

Answers:

Cutting yourself is something that a person will do to relieve guilt as like a self punishment. But seriously the fact that you don't feel right about it is you realizing that you are being way too hard on yourself. Don't be so quick to believe that you deserve such a severe punishment, hey everyone makes mistakes and all mistakes should be looked at as a teacher to help you learn to be a better/stronger person.

I know this is easier said than done and I know I have a long way to go to be where I want to be, starting is the hardest part and once you get yourself turned around and back into a more healthy way of life it will get easier and you will be able to be where you want to be.

I used to hate myself so much I thought cutting myself was what I deserved for all the things that went wrong, but this was preventing me from learning and growing which put me in a rut and severe depression. That is a place that no one deserves to be and I don't care how much you think you belong there because you don't. Cutting is a temporary relief for most emotional pain but you never learn or advance when you do it. I know when I did it I wasn't addressing what was really bothering me so there it sat eating away at me making me miserable.

Talk to someone you need to get out your secrets of the things that you hold inside you that are only hurting you. If you don't have anyone to talk to just write it out, everything you feel and then let it go (which is what the writing is doing). I know you are not happy where you are and it sounds like you are ready for a change listen to your heart it sounds like you are trying to tell yourself it is time for a better chance at life. You are right and you can feel better I am always willing to listen if you want to talk, I have been through a lot and now I am trying to help people realize that they don't ever need to feel bad or like the way I did. There is a better way open your mind and give yourself the chance that you deserve and start living for you, you are worth more than you think.
