I won't let them shut me up, the truth will be known the truth is coming out. They are destroying to many people's lives. Taking away to much of peoples freedom and dignity. They have no right and they are not right.

that might sound really nice if there weren't so many people that didn't want the drugs to be pushed on them, and if these drugs cured something they don't, and if it could not be court ordered that people take these drugs against their will and better judgements, if the hunger strike questions could be answered by them in such a way that most people could understand, and they had some actual scientific evidence for all of this then it might seem a bit better don't you think, the drug companies are paying them to cause drug addictions in our country

truth is that medicaid is going broke because of these treatments and that they do nothing and the drug companies are getting people hooked on them, the difference in what they give you and the cost to buy this stuff is ten fold the drug companies are making good profit or they would not be doing this at all they are not in it to give away and lose money this money is an investment but it is hurting people

Why do you think that they NAMI people here have all of my questions and answers removed from this forum is it because I tell the truth about them? They also attack them in such a way sometimes that it is better off for me just to take some of them down myself is that what NAMI is good for is this another way that they get people to think well of them?

Answers:

I understand your angst with respect to the National Alliance. Please accept the fact that they have helped more people with mental illnesses than any other foundation in history. While it may be funded by the pharmaceutical companies, the upside of this is that they can provide low cost or free medications to many people who would not have access to them otherwise. The Alliance also provides low cost and free counseling to these same people. Not many other agencies provide for people who live at or under the poverty level. The Alliance has long held an independent stance with regard to mental health and has lobbied for further pharmaceutical trials, insisting on new psychotropic meds with fewer serious side effects. If you compare the number of research $$$ that go into looking for a "cure" for other diseases and compare it to the $$$ that go into mental health issues, it is very disconcerting to see how relatively ignored psychiatric issues are. best wishes
