I want to cut?
I have cut myself since november, but stopped in may. and lately I have a really strong urge to do it, I'm seeing a counselor, and she is really good, and also taking medication. but nothing can seem to stop me. if you have any experiences please let me know there is hope.

Addictive behavior is tricky, and everyone's reason to cut is different. I can however, tell you why I'm an occasional cutter. My trigger is stress and a feeling of worthlessness. If you share the same trigger, I can tell you that the only way to stop is to find something else that calms you down as much as cutting does, something else that is physical, like maybe lying on your bed with your head upside down- you have to find your own alternative, but if you can, and you want to stop cutting- yes there is hope. Just find a healthy replacement. Your body can do all kinds of funny things without hurting you.
