Question:

My mother is 88-yrs old and blind. Since she can't read anything, how can I help her keep her mind sharp?

She lives in an "assisted living" facility. I'm looking for some kind of mental exercises for her. I feel she is "slipping away."

Answers:

For goodness sake, get her books on tape. All public libraries have books on tape, most of them are VHS, but some are still cassette. And bless you for trying to keep your mother active.
