Does anyone know how to encourage someone to eat when they haven't eaten in 6 days?
my daughter just had surgery about 6 days ago and she is unable to eat due to I think depression. after she woke up she had tubes connected to her that she did not anticipate. what can I do to help her through this, she is going to be 19 years old this month if that helps. she doesn't have any weight to lose, she is already under weight,. I am so worried, no one has been able to think of anything to help.

You need to take her to the doc right now and get her checked out. DO not wait this out or try to figure out how to get her to eat just take her to a doctor NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. She has had sugery and needs nutrition in order to heal from the surgery so get her to the hospital NOW!!!
