Dreams that scare me?

my mother is having dreams and there pretty much random but anyway
shell talk in her sleep and if you try to wake her up shell open her eyes and sit up (which is not easy for her when shes awake shes handicap) and continue acting out the dreams she normally angry or sad when it happens and then when she wakes up fully shell have no memory of the dream and be very upset that you either wake her up or that you claim she was asleep at all

its not anything like alzheimers she only 45 and completely lucid during the day

its scaring me
i dont if its because of all the stress on her (which is an abnormal amount) or if its because she cant voice her actual opinions in daily life or what
she normally only gets 4 or 5 hours a night to sleep mon-fri

shes has had several night terrors in the past
she has a phobia of spiders and one of them was about that
another was of her whole family being killed and another was someone killing and cooking human flesh

it scares her so badly that she cant sleep for days she is so scared to go back to bed that she will drink coffee and anything that will keep her awake i had to pour nyquill in her coffee once just to get her to sleep again


the thing is is that when she has night terrors she does not talk she maons and will cry but not talk
i think this is because in most of her night terrors she cant talk in the dream itself

Maybe she should try taking melatonin for a couple of weeks to see if that is the answer. If not, no harm done. You get it over the counter I believe at the pharmacy section or health food store. It will create a much more peaceful and tranquil sleep. Another thing that could help if that doesn't work is a nightcap. A single or double shot only of quality whiskey or bourbon, but just the one glass, no more.
