Question:
My friends Dr just bumped her up to 225 xr of effexor?
How would one know if she is getting too much?
before she got little "zaps" if she forgot to take it even one day. now its a higher dose and it seems like her anxiety is worse not better. She does have a therapist she sees for her divorce and other day to day things.

I take effexor also but I don't have zaps or anxiety...I take 75 mil also XR
I have problems staying focused after the death of my little brother

Sounds like Effexor is not the right med for her. She needs to discuss this with her prescribing doctor.
